Yesterday we left for a long awaited vacation and I can’t tell you how incredibly ready I was to get out of town. The last few weeks have been a bit difficult especially given our recent family stint with the stomach flu. Spring has not even attempted to visit and the weather has been unseasonably cold. All in all, my spirits were sinking and it was time to leave.
I can hardly wait to hit the mountains! Stay tuned…
rut !
🙂 Last morning. Boo hoo.
Stunning pictures. Big Sky is definitely on my want to experience list!
Thanks Elena! We leave this afternoon and I would definitely come back. It is amazing here. So beautiful and the skiing is great for kids. We’ve had wonderful family time together here.
A native Coloradoan who hasn’t been home in two years ….. I could look at your beautiful photo’s all day! Looked like a fabulous vaca! Thanks for sharing!
I love Colorado too! What is nice about Montana is it is so less developed and so quiet. A wonderful wonderful place! Last morning here and then we head home dreaming about when we can ski again.
Gorgeous mountain and big sky photos, Nicole!!! I hope you’re already feeling revived and energized!
Lucy, I feel like a new person. This trip has been so incredibly wonderful. It is so utterly beautiful here and not very developed. very peaceful yet at the same time I was able to really test my body and feel like I did some of the best skiing I’ve ever done in my life. Not bad for 41! 🙂 I also didn’t break anything!
We are going home this afternoon. I’m sad but ready. What a wonderful family vacation. Wonderful memories.
Believe it or not, but I leave in 9 days to France. This is quite a month for me!!! 🙂 But I’m diving right on it.
Nicole, I can see from your FB photos how much you’ve loved it! It looks beautiful!!! Good for the heart and soul!!! I’m glad you’re feeling re-energized! You’re so lucky to have your lovely family to holiday with. Sometimes traveling alone is hard. It’s good to share experiences.
I know going back to France with your mom and sister will be unforgettable! Enjoy and I look forward to seeing your photos and reading your blog posts after! 🙂
I feel so much better now. I really needed that trip. It was a rough winter with all our illnesses. Spring is on the horizon here. I am sure I’ll get back from France and it will be bursting with greenery and flowers here. I can hardly wait!
Have a fantastic trip, Nicole! Spring in Paris! I hope you see the sun! I can’t wait to hear all about it! 🙂
Cheers! Have a wonderful trip!
It was AMAZING! Just what the doctor ordered! 🙂
Beautiful photos! It’s nice to see posts about people traveling in the mountains in Canada and the US.. such gorgeous spots to be found.
Thanks. I LOVE the western part of the US and Canada. Yes there is so much beauty to be found and I love the undeveloped status of Montana. It is wonderful!!!
Haven’t been to Bozeman. Looking forward to hearing all about it.
Big Sky was amazing. It is so incredibly beautiful and pristine here. So undeveloped compared to Colorado. I would come back in a heartbeat! 🙂
Reminds so much of Alberta, love it!
Thanks! I’ve got to get back out that way to Canada! It has been over 10 years but I loved it there.
