View from the beach.
Today is the start of our official week long family vacation! This is our third year that we have come to stay at a cabin on Roy Lake in Nisswa, Minnesota. I can hardly wait to relax. Life has been too busy and it is time to sit back, relax, spend time with my family and chill. I haven’t decided yet whether or not I will be blogging. I may take an entire week off as a blog vacation. Or I may do shorter posts with a photo of the day from this beautiful part of the country. We’ll see.
In any event, my response to reading your posts or comments will be delayed. Have a great week! thirdeyemom
Have a wonderful vacation Nicole.
Great Photo – Enjoy the Beach:)
Thanks! The water is perfect and I’m loving the loons at night….so relaxing and peaceful!
Happy holidays Nicole! You deserve a break!!!
I don’t believe you can sit back in that chair and not do anything for a week. I want visual proof. 🙂
Ha Ha….I laughed so hard when I read this comment! You know me too well!!!! Of course I’ve had to write a few posts here and there and reply to comments sporadically. I haven’t been reading as many posts and am saving that for later. I did read a book on the adironack chair for over an hour, though. I’m only 20 pages from finishing it and it is of course a heartbreaker. I always read those sad books but it really is a good one on Siera Leonne.
A novel? Who wrote it? There are some extraordinary young writers coming out of Africa now. Soooo glad to hear you sat still for an hour:)
Have a great time. Hope it doesn’t rain 🙂
Thanks! It stormed insanely last night, for well over five hours. But the weather has been perfect, much better than the 100 degree sauna back home in the Twin Cities. 🙂
Enjoy your time away!
Thanks! We are over half way through it but it feels so incredibly good to relax. Most of my vacations are the least bit relaxing except this one where now I’m sitting outside on the screened in porch looking over the lake and listening to the loons while drinking my coffee. The lake air is so fresh and delightful.
Have a great vacation! They are so important – time with family & just pure relaxation. Nothing like the soothing waves to let your mind be free.
Thanks! I’m actually back now. It was extremely relaxing but now I’m back to a busy life again. Looking forward to next year’s relaxation vacation!
