Arizona Sky

I found some remaining pictures from my recent visit to the Sonoran desert of Arizona. Every night, the sunsets are magical and unique. It is my most favorite time of day and so insanely peaceful that all my worries seem to fade away with each brilliant ray of light and color splashed across the sky.

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science”. – Albert Einstein

Sunset over Sahuaro

“When you focus on the goodness in your lives, you create more of it.” – Oprah Winfrey

“Don’t wait for the last judgment – it takes place every day.” – Albert Camus

And finally the last drops of light disappear beyond the horizon…

Thanks so much! I use a variety ranging from my cell phone (yes I do!), to a small canon and then a big nice camera. But lately most of these photos including the ones in the post are with my little old cell phone. Then I process them with either Instagram or Snapseed to make them shine! 🙂

      Thanks Amy!

  2. Your images reminded me of the past. I introduced my children to the Southwest many moons ago. One of the prevalent remembrances is them standing next to the huge cactus. This entire desert is a testament to nature’s omnipotence and its tolerance of human intervention. When we visited the area nearby had polluted skies, which shocked us. Your set of images are nicely captured memories of a serenely peaceful landscape.

Thanks so much. My parents live in AZ so I’ve been going there to visit for the last 20 years. I’ve been going a lot regularly as my dad just started chemo on Thanksgiving so I really wanted to be there. I will be visiting a lot these coming, challenging months and will use my photography as a way to bring peace and beauty to this difficult time.
