In the mountains

This weekend I just so happen to be among one of my favorite things: Mountains. I love to see them, climb them and ski them racing like wildfire down the terrain. There is something so magical about mountains. I will always find them mesmerizing.

Here are some photos from my first day skiing at Copper Mountain in Colorado. You will see that it was a magnificent day with brilliant sun and perfect powdery snow. I embraced every minute of it and let the exhilaration saturate my soul.

She enjoys reading, the cinema, photography, travel, things that are designed well and synchronised swimming. Her dislikes include maths, weakness, a tardy nature and oaked chardonnay. Mrs Carmichael has a number of very good friends and a few people who don't like her as much as they should. She socialises with both groups regularly. Mrs Carmichael is on the look out for a new hobby.

    Very nice!

You should go to Norway, Scandinavia: Mountains everywhere. “Heilhornet” mountain would be a challenge to ski down (photo taken this autumn) 🙂 http://thornews.com/2012/10/03/in-honor-of-autumn/

And best of all: You wouldn’t run into other tourists. We are only 5 mill people in this vast country.

Looks like home! Let me know if you get to the boring side of the mountains and want to grab a coffee or a beer. 🙂

ARe you in Boulder? I can’t remember. I’m at the airport already. Short trip but we had so much fun! Skied Copper and then tried Loveland and it actually was great up top along the bowl. But very windy! Next time I’ll have to have a beer! It would be great to meet you!!!
