Grand View Lodge: Thursday

Today is day five of our lake/cabin vacation at the Grand View Lodge in lovely Nisswa, Minnesota. Far away from reality, life is a beach and slowly I begin to submit to the temptation of relaxation.

Today, I woke up without rush.

I read my book, a new stellar book that I’m loving called “Unbroken”.

Paul and I went on an hour and a half walk.

We picked strawberries.

I had a massage.

I read more of my book.

We just dropped the kids off for a night at “Kids Club” so we can go out on a date and celebrate our 12th year anniversary (which is July 8th).

I’m on the front porch having a glass of white cold wine.

Am I relaxing yet?
