I have been in Virginia for less than 48 hours yet it has been enough time for me to go absolutely crazy enjoying the rebirth of nature and the flowers abound. I am concerned that I have become a tad bit obsessive but the spring flowers here are so spectacular that I can hardly stand it. So here it is. An entire post on the sensational flowers I saw today in a garden in Colonial Williamsburg. Hope you enjoy!

  1. It’s the hardest thing about living in the heart of Shenzhen, the absolute absence of nature. These shots are lovely, but they made me a little sad too – I think it’s time to move somewhere a little nicer.

    1. I can’t imagine not having any nature! Even when I lived in Chicago, there was Lincoln Park and the lakefront right outside my doorstep and a year in Paris was spectacular given all the parks. Minneapolis seems like the perfect place right now for me as where else can you live in a city, run right outside your door around a lake and see a bald eagle while the planes are landing? Crazy! Nature is so important! I hope you find some soon! 🙂

    1. Thanks! Mine too! I can’t believe how beautiful they are in full bloom. That is why I went so crazy taking the pictures and had to put every single one on the post. Couldn’t leave a single one out!

    1. I love flowers! I just am not good at growing them like you! Someday I hope to have an amazing garden! It can be done, even in MN. I’ve seen some spectacular ones.

  2. Spring and all its beautiful images. Thanks for sharing today photos that reminds us why we love this season. Wonderful colors. Just a delight to the heart. Happy Easter. Best wishes to your family.
