A Very Special Gathering

“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” – Thornton Wilder

Today, I express my uttermost gratitude for the love that my family has given me. Every year, we spend Christmas with our extended family who unfortunately do not live nearby. It is a special time of year that we gather together as one big family and create special memories that will last a lifetime.

This photo was taken last year in Williamsburg, Virginia where my sister and her family live. It is of my parents, my children and my sister’s two children. It was a very special Christmas for many reasons and I look so forward to sharing the holidays together again this year. Christmas has always been my favorite gathering of all because it means I get to be near the people I love most.
