Sometimes moments don’t require words….
These are some of the photos taken during my visit to the Mkuri Maasi Training Camp in Tanzania. It was one of the highlights of my trip and I can hardly wait to share all the details of this amazing place and culture. Stay tuned….
Incredible – I really want to go – we love Southern Africa, thought it was incredible. Your imagery is amazing as always. We did a walk with teh Botswanan bush people that was incredible
I would love to go to Botswana! I’ve been to South Africa about 10 years ago and loved it. SO much in the world to see!
Very much so, we have done Botswana, SA, Namibia, Mozambique, Swailziland, Zimbawbe and Zambia… Absolutely magical
Niezwykłe miejsce, świetne fotografie 🙂
Thanks!
I was at a Masai village in southern Kenya in 2014. Same road, same dung huts and same flies. The men told us they herd cattle and “think”! Women do everything else
Yes, it is so true Leslee. I learned a lot about the culture during my tour and took extensive notes. Some of what I learned wasn’t great regarding women and girls, especially the practice of FGM that still goes on. The women and children work so hard but the men have not really found much to do now that their warrior culture has changed. The young boys were the herders here while the men did lots of “thinking”.
Gorgeous photos that make me want to go there so much. Africa is definitely on the list!
Alison
Thanks Alison! Africa is a magical place and so unlike any place I’ve ever been. It is so huge and diverse. So many countries and things to see.
In another life I think I was a Masai woman.
Love this Lulu! 🙂
Oh, how beautiful. What a blessing. Looking forward to reading more. J x.
Thank you. It was a special day that is for certain.
Great photos, Nicole. You really do some amazing trips. 🙂
Thanks Sylvia! So do you! 🙂 P.S. Where did you stay in Key West? We are thinking of going.
I love seeing pics of people in addition to landscapes etc. Says so much
Yes me too. I would photograph people all the time if I could. The Maasi are lovely people.
you’re right Nicole. Some times photos can say far more than words! Looks like an amazing experience.
Thanks Tina! It was an incredible experience.
Your photos seldom need words. They always tell a story. 🙂
Oh thanks LuAnn! What a wonderful comment!
Such beautiful images Nicole. I think LuAnn said it best.
