Saturday, March 8th is International Women’s Day, a day to celebrate the advances and successes women have made around the world. In honor of this special day I am reposting last year’s summary of what this day means to me. The more I see the world and learn about the struggles women in the developing world face, the more inspired I am to make a difference. Thanks for reading and please spread the word.

  1. I love your entire blog, and this post is especially inspiring. Your photographs are breathtaking and eye-opening, as well as all of the facts weaved within them. I, too, have a love of traveling, but haven’t been to near as many places as you! I hope that someday I will, and that I will be a positive influence like you are. I love doing volunteer work and am aiming to work in non-profit someday (although I am a public relations major in college, I think non-profit is the place I will end up). Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing your wonderful experiences.

    1. Thank you so much for the wonderful comment! My only regret is that I didn’t start blogging sooner! I’ve done it for three years and am 42 thus I’m missing a ton of adventures on here! Good luck with your future endeavors too!
