Today I am grateful for so much in my life. My family, this wonderful life, my health and happiness. My heart is so full of love and thankfulness. As I spend this Thanksgiving holiday with my immediate family, the first time we have all been together in years without spouses or kids, I am grateful for the love that we share that has filled my heart with immense joy, compassion and tenderness.

It is time to step back and embrace all the beauty of this world.

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.” – Melody Beattie

It is time to take a moment to reflect on what it is in your life that you are grateful for and to also remember the many who are less fortunate. Gratitude.

  1. really. we take things for granted these days. but some days, occasion or no occasion we are reminded of all that Lord has bestowed upon us. all that we have around us is unbelievable. once again, your post has served as a source of inspiration reminding me of how much i have.

  2. There is an old say that happiness in life is free. We have so much to be grateful for every day! It just sits there in our eyes: health, children, a new day, beautiful flowers, great friends, enough food to live, shelter, clothes … and life in general. Why don’t we see it? Maybe because we take it for granted so let’s count our blessings!
Thank you for a great post and great photos!

  3. The Fountain

It is the longing for such places for such sunsets, after so much purity that always draws us back into the desert. Although there is no place where we can live. Strange.
