A is for Arizona

Last year at this time we had just returned from Christmas vacation in lovely Tucson, Arizona. There is something magical about the desert that I absolutely love. The fragrant smells, the greenery and the wildness of the various kinds of cactus, and of course the rugged mountains. It is a place close to my heart that I’m fortunate to visit quite often given the fact that my parents live there.

Here are some of my favorite pictures of amazing Arizona. All were taken last December.

    • Thanks Meghan! Yes I really love the Southwest. It is so different than other parts of the US. I guess that is what is so cool about our country. So much diversity! 🙂

  2. Although I grew up in the midwest I spent 20+ years in AZ so consider it home. We love the desert and are returning to the Santa Catalina Mtns in March for a couple of weeks of hiking bliss! Great photos Nicole. 🙂

Beautiful images, Nicole. I especially like the effects of water in a desert setting, the contrasts of a sere landscape and blossoming plants is always a treat!

    • Thanks Anita! I’m sorry I’ve been so behind on your posts! It has been extremely busy but the ones I’ve read have been beautiful! 🙂 Happy New Year!
