The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog. I found the report interesting and fun! I’m not one for stats however it is interesting to see what posts were viewed most. I am still a bit surprised that “Women in Morocco” and “How to Cook a Moroccan Tagine” are in the lead.
The big change I made to my blog this year is to add all my social good and advocacy posts. I joined the Global Team of 200 in the fall where I expanded my passion for writing about the social needs of the developing world. It has been an extremely fulfilling and satisfying experience. I also joined the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge where I’ve been inspired to rework some of my favorite travel pictures from the road.
Best of all, I’ve met lots and lots of new friends and followers. Thank you all for reading my blog and cheering me on! I look so forward to the coming year and all it will bring!
As for the WP Stats….here it is!
If this is good or bad, I do not know but I find it somewhat interesting for a little blog like mine…
19,000 people fit into the new Barclays Center to see Jay-Z perform. This blog was viewed about 84,000 times in 2012. If it were a concert at the Barclays Center, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
