Y is for Yellow

It has been gray and dreary this past week rather reflecting my mood. When I saw Flickr Comment’s Challenge this week “Y“, I instantly thought of the beautiful, bright color yellow. I love yellow especially yellow flowers. They always brighten my day and make my heart sing. I hope you enjoy the following photos as much as I do.

“Some painters transform the sun into a yellow spot, others transform a yellow spot into the sun”. Pablo Picasso

    • So glad LuAnn! We have been battling the stomach flu over here and I was halfway wanting to write a post today called “Buckets and Bleach!” But I thought I’d do something prettier! Hopefully we are nearing the end. After five days of my son being sick, it is getting old. Oh well! 🙂 :LOL

  1. I suppose Anais Nin has a monopoly on the idea of budding flowers, because I couldn’t think of anything else when I looked at the first couple of photos: “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” Lovely yellows, Nicole. 🙂
