I am thankful for…

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away”. – anonymous

Walking down the aisle with my father and grandfather on my wedding day while the love of my life awaits..

Holding my brand new baby son for the first time…

My first trip with my dad after my son was born. A trip to South Africa that I never thought I’d be able to go on after surviving severe postpartum depression…

Watching the love in my son Max’s eyes while we snapped this photo of him kissing his brand new sister Sophia..

Sharing a hike with my siblings in Arizona…

Spending a summer holiday at the lake and seeing the magic of childhood in my children’s eyes…

Watching grandma walk with the kids through the desert sky…

The countless sunsets I’ve seen in my life…

Seeing some of the most beautiful places on earth…

The beauty of my own surroundings…

The love and happiness my family brings to me each and every day…

The compassion and ability to give back to those in need…

I am so grateful for everything that I have in this world. Happy Thanksgiving!

  9. Those countless sunsets look awesome and congrats on overcoming that depression. It’s a rough thing glad you could travel and get passed it.

    • Yes, the sunsets are marvelous and yes going through PPD was the hardest thing I’ve ever faced. But that was eight years ago now thank goodness and oddly enough it made me stronger and more appreciative. πŸ™‚
