“We were born before the wind
Also younger than the sun
Ere the bonnie boat was won as we sailed into the mystic
Hark, now hear the sailors cry
Smell the sea and feel the sky
Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic” –Lyrics to one of my favorite Van Morrison songs, “Into the Mystic”
I just couldn’t resist including it with the post…listen along and view my photos into the mystic….
There is no place more mystical than Iceland. Come take a look for yourself and let me know if you agree that there is no place quite like it. The mystical land of fire and ice.
There is nothing more mystic than a waterfall dropping bursts of sparkling diamonds down to the earth…
Or the remains of a rainbow left delicately in the air..
Or the falling glacial tongues that remind us of the history of the earth and the power of mother nature…
Or the mystical vapors of the earth funneling out of the ground and rising into the darkened air…
Lets your mind and imagination wonder where on earth you are going…
Until you remember….into the mystic.
Some of those photos are like paintings. Really beautiful!
Thanks! Iceland is breathtaking….

I REALLY want to go to Iceland!
Perhaps you can go this summer? The season for good weather is so short….unless you want dark and cold! 🙂
Beautiful photos and weaving together a story.
Thanks so much!
I really need to get to Iceland. There and Antarctica are high up on my list of places I want to visit.
You would love it! I want to go to Antarctica too but not sure when that will happen. 🙂

Nature offers us so much from her womb… mesmerizing!
Well said Eliz! 🙂
WOW!!

Iceland is such a beautiful country, someday we hope to go there when funds permit. Did you try some of their unique cuisine?
Yes it is amazing! It is expensive though given its isolation and size. I did not try anything unique as I don’t eat red meat and lots of other unusual things. I heard about the strange items and decided to let others give it a whirl! The rotted shark sounded the worst!
You captured the landscape so beautifully. Great shots!
Thank you so much!!! 🙂
Well this brings back some memories! Awesome photographs of Iceland. I want to go back sooo bad!
Nate
Thanks Nate! I remember your collection too! 🙂
