I have been following the Island traveler’s beautiful blog for over a year now and he never fails to inspire me with his inspiration, beauty and prose. This post in particular has struck a chord with me today as we celebrate our independence and what it truly means. Freedom. I have dedicated my life to advocacy and volunteer work that I dream revives hope for our future, here the United States and abroad. Let freedom ring!

Celebrating Our Dreams And Freedom

Ten years ago, I had a dream. Just like anyone else those dreams were laden with hope and positive optimism. One of those dreams was to have a family. A family to share my world and all life’s adventures. Another dream was to give my family a better, brighter future. A future where they can feel safe, comfortable and free to pursue their heart’s passions. A future where then can pursue happiness with the greatest chance of achieving it.

Just like the famous words of Sir Martin Luther King, ” I Have A Dream,” all of us have our dreams for ourselves and for our family.   2. Thank you my friend. That is such an honor coming from a blogger who inspired me in so many ways. This I share with you, “Let’s hope that freedom becomes a right for every human being regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, political views and birth.” Yes, let freedom rind loudly to all corners of the world. It must had been fate when I took these pictures. My son wanted to ride the “Colonel” boat at Moody Gardens and we sat at the back with the American flag. People of different races would stand close to it and I simply took a priceless , fleeting moment. Everyone stared at the flag, perhaps remembering their own stories of freedom and struggle. It was inspiring! Have a great 4th of July!
