For this week’s photo challenge “Two Subjects” I couldn’t decide. I was torn between two completely different pictures in two different countries: Iceland and Morocco. So I picked Two Subjects with two subjects (ha ha…hope you liked my play on words!). Here are the two I chose.
Two Subjects: Cat and Lanterns – Morocco 2010
Photo above taken in a Moroccan Souq (see post “A Day at the Souq”)
I love this photo. I saw this cat just hanging out begging me to take a picture of him. He looked so Moroccan especially hanging out in front of the lamps.
TWO SUBJECTS: Icebergs and Glacier – Iceland 2008
Photo taken in Iceland in summer 2008 in Jökulsárlón (See post “Driving in Search of Glaciers”).
The magical sculptured icebergs bewitched my soul. They glistened like diamonds in the brilliant sun. Meanwhile the glacier which fed the lake and calved the icebergs was equally as breathtaking. If heaven exists, it must be here.
