Today’s Weekly Photo Challenge is quite fitting for the launch of a new year: Resolved.
Conquering my fears and anxieties, my dad and I made it to the highest point along the Annapurna Trek in Nepal, Thorong-La Pass at 5416 m. 11/10
As I am set to embark on my latest adventure in less than 24 hours, I have resolved that I will spend this year continuing to experience the world with a third-eye, do social good, advocate, give back to those in need, and embrace every day. I also have resolved to enjoy the time I have at home with my two rapidly growing children and cherish family time with my husband and children as well as my extended family.
A lot of wonderful things are planned for the year! Many travels have come my way. I can’t wait to dive in!

As I leave tomorrow for Honduras to volunteer for a week, I’m full of anticipation, excitement and nerves. I won’t know how my internet access will be while I’m there. Thus there will probably not be any posts for the next nine days. But rest assured, I’m resolved to take hundreds of pictures while I’m there and share with you everything I’ve learned and experienced when I get back. Stay tuned….
