This week’s WordPress Photo Challenge is another fabulous subject: Fleeting Moments. The challenge asks that we present some of our favorite street photography. Here are my picks of my most favorite, magical fleeting moments captured in time. There will be no commentary with this post as I believe the true essence of street photography is that the picture paints a thousand words.
All photos taken in Guatemala, March 2012.

Lovely photos!
Thanks!!!!
Love these pics Nicole! More Guatemala memories!!!
Thanks Lucy! Can you tell I can’t get enough of them? I keep reusing them but making them slightly different by using filters. I think these are some of my favorite ones there. I can only imagine the street photography you have!!!!!

Thanks! I love yours too! Is it from DC?
No, it’s San Francisco. I work there.
Wonderful! I love San Fran! I was in DC last April and took a similar shot of a cherry blossom so that is why I thought perhaps it was there. Great photo!
Wonderful captures
Thank you very much! These are some of my favorite photos of all time!
I feel like I was just there trying to take them.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
They’re great, Nicole. Wonderful how populating those streets makes them zing:)
Great photos!
Thanks!
Beautiful! Especially love the last one.
Thanks Madhu!
The last one is my favourite too, for the colours, the background and the special warmth of a childhood friendship. Also like the juxtaposition of the little boy who is by himself. Gorgeous capture!
Thank you so much! You know, when I looked back at this photo I noticed that little boy for the first time! I really focused always on the two children together. You are indeed correct! I love this photo too because it shows the companionship and happiness of children! Thanks for your comment!
Incredible series!
Why thank you!
Beautiful photos!
Thanks! I think these are some of my most favorite pictures of all times. I really love the people. Only wish I had more…
Gorgeous photos
I read your mission statement and to that I say good work! I’ve done the same with my children, and now, as adults, they are the most wonderful, worldly people. These are beautiful photos. You should be very proud.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I sure hope my kids learn to appreciate all that we’ve got and give back someday! That is my goal and I have a lot of work ahead of me!!!
Beautiful photos!
Thank you so much!

You always have such fantastic street photos!
Thanks Jennifer! I’m trying to improve on my photography and I’ve already seen a difference. I really love this series of photos. I think they are some of my favorite I’ve ever taken.
